We’re located at London’s Royal Docks in dynamic East London, an area of regeneration and investment just next door to the ExCel, Canary Wharf and only 20 mins from the City of London and Stratford. Directly Connecting to over 30+ destinations across the UK and Europe as well onwards connections to Africa, Asia & South America.

Speedy, convenient, and reliable

8 mins from door to gate and 4 mins average security times, were not only London’s most centrally located airport but London’s most punctual. In April 2023, we became the first major airport in the UK to fully deploy next generation CT security scanners for its passengers. Enabling travellers to take up to 2 litres bottles through security and can also leave large electronic items, like laptops, in their bags.

Our future airport

Following a major refurbishment, with £12 million being spent on improvements. The experience at LCY is that of a boutique airport. With more seats, improved washrooms and new dining/shopping experiences all with an east London flare. With more on the way, in 2024 will we enter the final phase and unveil even more dining experiences this summer.

Our mission is to fulfil the demands of an ever more connected world, while also improving our surrounding environment, community, and economy. We believe we can become a net zero emission airport by 2030.
