London Airports Gear Up For Major Air Travel Surge in 2025
Global air travel is set to reach 4.22 billion passengers in 2025, with London airports expanding to meet demand, driving growth across tourism, retail, logistics, real estate and professional services. Heathrow is working on planning reforms and a £2.3 billion investment in terminal upgrades to enhance the passenger experience.  Gatwick saw an 8% rise in passenger numbers and is hopeful for approval to activate a standby runway by 2025, which could support 75 million annual passengers by the 2030s.  Stansted's £1.1 billion expansion, starting in 2025, will boost capacity to 43 million passengers.  London Stansted's £1.1 billion expansion, starting in 2025, will boost capacity to 43 million passengers, creating 5,000 jobs by 2028.  London Southend aims to triple its capacity to 10 million annually.  As business travel rises, Addison Lee's Airport and Airport Assured services provide reliable, sustainable, and seamless transport for business travellers across London.
