ITA Airways A220-100

The A220-100 is the smallest Airbus aircraft but also one of the most versatile and comfortable, offering passengers an enjoyable and relaxing flight experience. This aircraft is used for short- and medium-range flights.

Built using advanced materials, it is light and efficient, and enables savings in fuel, and therefore CO2 emissions, of 25% and in NOx emissions of up to 50% compared to previous generation aircraft.

In total, the cabin has 125 large, reclining leather seats with USB sockets in Business and Economy class. The A220-100 is known for its low noise levels throughout the flight and for its wider windows compared to other narrow-body aircraft.

The A220-100 is powered by Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1500G turbofan engines designed specifically for the A220 family.

This aircraft is ideal for city center operations and is also the largest capable of operating in the confined environment of London City Airport.
